HI guys,

I have 3 questions about the usage of Regaine that I cannot find answers:
1. As Regaine is water sensitive do you think that if someone's head gets sweaty due to sport activities or hot weather after application this can spoil the effect of the drug?
2. I want to use Regaine for a large space on my head but the recommended quantity is not enough to cover it all. What should I do?
3. Do you think that Regaine may cause growth of unwanted body hair as a side effect?

I will appreciate if you can help me with this!
Thanks!

Regaine=Rogaine=Minoxidil

Answers to your questions:

1. Migration of minoxidil into the tissue is sufficient after 30 minutes. You have to apply minoxidil and wash it off directly a few seconds later for it not to be effective. No.

2. Use the 1ml, twice a day as recommended. Using more will not increase hair growth. Smear it around on the bald region, or path your hair 6 ways to get at the scalp.

3. Yes.

Thank you mmhce! I am a bit surprised by your first answer... I thought that there should be at least 4 hours for the Regaine to work without washing/wetting your head... Do you think that Regaine can help against thinning on the front part of the head?

Thanks,

User_B

What you are talking about is the greasy feel of the glycol. This is not the alcoholic vehicle that transports the minoxidil micro-crystals. This greasy feeling disappears some hours after application of minoxidil.

Yes. It works everywhere.
