This 50 year old fitness fanatic was acquainted with one of our techs and came in with significant thinning behind his frontal tuft. We discussed options, and as a businessman, he didn't want to have his tuft shaved, so we did a U shaped case preserving the tuft.
He arrived an hour late, and had very tough skin in which to place grafts, and later admitted to staying on green tea--a big no no at our office. Today he walked in unexpectedly, not having shown for his scar check; and looked good. Initially I though he probably didn't have any growth yet, but when we compared the preop and today's above and hairline pics, I am guessing he has 40% growth. So much for following the rules to insure quick growing. He is supposed to come back at the holidays, and I'll put up pics if he shows. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA

Dr. Lindsey,
I'm sure the patient is pleased that even though he was late at your clnic, is experiencing some early growth :-). I look forward to seeing his hair after it all grows in. Keep us posted. Bill
