I just got a HT from Dr. Arocha on Friday, April 1st, 2011 and it was great. The Doc and staff were amazing, the procedure was pain free, and I felt very comfortable the whole time. I will admit I'm a nervous wreck at the moment. I am terrified of pulling out a graph or messing anything up. I have been using the kit he recommended and following every step but I am still nervous I will mess it up. I can't wait for my follow up this Sunday to see how I am doing. I feel like everything is looking good though. I just hope I'm taking good care of the transplanted site. I'm so nervous I will pull out a graph, it is killing me.
I know I will have these questions answered by Dr. Arocha and his staff on Sunday, but it is very tough. Regardless, he did a fantastic job and I will recommend him to anyone interested in a HT.
