Yet a further example of a great Cooleyfied patient.

As this shows, it's not just sheer numbers alone that make a great result.

Sometimes I see results that just don't make sense. What I mean is, that even with the skill of a great surgeon, something just doesn't add up in the end. I've seen surgeons post results where the density is just beyond belief, and where the patient supposedly had relatively average donor hair characteristics. I find it very confusing.

Great question. The first thing I think about when I see better than expected results in my patients or someone else's is that they began finasteride and/or minoxidil around the time of the transplant. This does not always seem to explain it. I do think there is occasionally a stimulatory effect by the grafts. Are these follicles releasing something into the surrounding skin that rejuvenates miniaturized follicles? I definitely think it happens sometimes but it would be great if we understood it better and could control it.

A great result, for sure; also, interesting insight into new, potential avenues to help hair regrowth!

Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician.

Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death!
