3279 grafts yielding 5917 hairs in one session (645 singles, 2125 double, 509 multiunit grafts)

This patient is 6 months out from his transplant to the frontal region of his scalp. He has had considerable growth in the last 2 months; since he is only 6 months out, we expect continued growth and maturation of the transplanted hairs.

He is faithful about taking finasteride on a daily basis.

He posts frequently on the forums with the name Badger_01.

Excellent work! I'm happy for badger, I remember right after his op talking a bit about hoping for early-growth, etc.....awesome!

Nice and clear pictures, too.

Dr Gabel, thanks for posting my pics and thank you for the excellent result. I'm thrilled with the outcome, and hoping for even more thickening over the next few months.
Thanks for the support and kind words guys.I owe this forum, for getting the confidence to get an HT, and I honestly believe its one of the best decisions I've made. For the first time in years, my hair is not constantly on my mind. I should add that I use a little bit of toppik on the crown and I really look like i have a full head of hair.
Thanks again Dr Gabel!

I think it's great when doctors post results. However, it's even better when the results posted our of one of our very own and dedicated forum members.

Badger,

Your hair looks terrific - what a night and day difference. I'm sure you're ecstatic.

Dr. Gabel,

Kudos to you and your staff for producing yet another stellar result.

Bill

Bill..thanks for the kind words. I am thrilled with my results. It seems like more than 6 months ago when i posted for the first time, really nervous about my HT and hoping I'd made the right choice in my doctor! You and others on the forum were always a source of encouragement, and I couldn't be happier that i went through with it. Inspite of the ugly duckling stage which seemed to last forever, i'd do it over again in a heartbeat...in fact I still have some crown work .

Thanks for your positive comments. According to our last conversation, I think Badger is coming back when he is ready to proceed with some crown work.

While these are some aweful pictures "quality", There is no doubt that these are really good results. Doc you dont do yourself any justice by taking these kind of pic's. We already think you do great work but cant always tell by the pictures. Get a better camera and see how many more positive comments you'll get.
