Yes, He/She will remove the old scar at the same time the new strip is taken...so you would be left with only one scar.
Although not in my case....My Doctor in Toronto gave me 5 strip scars with 3 surgeries...what a jerk!! Double check with your doctor thou....if he/she is going to make a fresh one RUN!! Glenn 412 FUE into scar completed today

hey man thanks for helping me out with that as it was a concern for me..... i really do feel sorry for you in regards to the multiple strip scars!!! i really do hope you have rectified the issue with ur scars and once again thanks for the help

I agree that the ideal situation is that the doc will remove the 1st scar in the 2nd surgery leaving just 1. However, you need to check with a doc whether this is possible in your case. From what I have read if the first scar is badly located (esp. below the ridge at the back of your head) this may not be the wisest course of action.
