Ju,
Scars vary from patient to patient (as we discussed at length during our meeting) - Generally you will not hear much over scars (not from top docs) as the majority especially 1st time patients have trouble finding their scars. Vast majority can buzz down to a grade 3# but actually seldom do. It's funny really the number of guys who do get hooked on scars pre op but 12 months post op never even think about them. You will always hear from someone who feels they have an unsatisfacory scar, but the vast majority from all top clinics are often hard to find. Reapir cases can have problems with scars but in your case this is no problem as you are a virgin scalp. The more surgeries you have (via strip) then the higher the risk of the scar stretching but often patients realise that the hair on top of their head is there for growing and creating the illusion so bic shaving their head is really no issue anymore. The number of guys who buzz to a 2/3# are few and far between post op even though they could - they have no need to - it's more troubling initially to know that they possibly might not be able to - even though the have never even been that short beofre - like yourself. Here is Pete the Dr Feller. Pete had 2800+ session via strip with Tricho closure: Pete's Tricho scar with Dr Feller

bic having isnt an issue until you lose the ability to do it anymore.

BIC shaving is not an option period - regardless of strip or FUE. They both cause scaring.
If you want to Bic shave your head then don't get a HT as pointless shaving off ??10,000's pounds worth of hair IMO.
