This man in his mid 20s has a Norwood 5A thinning pattern with a thinning persistent midfrontal forelock. By his description, his uncle may have developed a Norwood 7 pattern at a young age.

He has finer than average brown hair but having more 3-haired grafts than usual helped compensate for that. He had 3288 follicular unit grafts transplanted to his front with a mature hairline. His narrow ???A??? pattern of hair loss allowed us to reach further back without sacrificing density. He started Finasteride the same day.

1 year later, his transplant was fully-grown and his existing hair in the crown was at least no worse and possibly slightly better. A second small session would cover the rest of the thinning area and he would still have lots of donor hair in reserve but he is ???100% satisfied??? as he is now. He has had no side effects from the Finasteride and plans to continue it indefinitely.

another outstanding job and another example of how any HT work should properly be documented.

i'd love to see his hair pulled back exposing his hairline.

Nice to see Dr. Simmons is finally being considered for recommendation. He did my first session when he was with Seager and he did a great job. Good luck to him in the future...maybe one day we'll meet again...I'm getting the itch to do one last session in the next year or so...we'll see.

Keep up the good work to all who contribute to this forum...this place saved me from going to some second rate hair mill operation.

Take care!

I recently visited Dr Simmons this past January.

His consultation was exceptionally thorough and detailed and he went through every aspect of the procedure.

In addition to presenting his skills as a doctor and the information he needs to get accross to allow me to make an informed choice, he took a lot of time to discuss my decision making process and whether this was right for me. Which I really appreciated.

I am no expert but have had 6 consultations over the last year or so, most were simply a sales process and some of the advice I have been given I now know to be, at best, misguided. Dr Simmons was very down to earth, very honest and very clear on what you can expect and will experience.

I am still on the fence and researching, but if I am going to have a strip procedure done, I will do so with him as I felt very confident and appreciated his approach.
