I had a discussion the other day with a friend about possibly having this procedure done. She mentioned that you don't see as many bald people around in Southern California anymore. Specifically Newport/Irvine/Laguna Beach where I"m from.

When I got to thinking, I did realize she was right. It was not a big secret that women here have lots of plastic surgery done. I never realized men were doing it too you just couldnt notice. I don't feel as weird/scared/ashamed about doing it. I just thought I'd never be one who would have too. Has anyone from this area noticed this as well?

oh and btw- I'm a commercial airline pilot. I've traveled to every state in our great country. Theres just a huge difference that I notice between men (and women) who get on my airplane from the midwest vs southern calif. I'm not being rude, just a general view. It wasn't until she pointed this out that I started to put the pieces together.

Yep, people from southern California are more concerned about their looks. Same thing also goes for those in NYC (Manhattan).

true true but when I was bald I almost never went outside during the day.. I am also from so cal.
