This man had had previous hair work elsewhere and had a widened scar. We did the left half first and right a month or so later, along with a small strip to the frontal hairline.

He was in Friday for a scar check and looks good. I placed a small amount of steroid in the scar and will give him a final check in a month.

Interestingly, although we tranplanted a couple of hundred grafts into primarily scar tissue at his hairline, he had virtually none fall out and go into the rest cycle.

Dr. Lindsey,

Thanks for keeping us posted on this patient's progress. As medical professionals in the field know, scar repair doesn't come with guarantees and in many cases, scar stretching can occur even after a repair. Hopefully this repair will minimize its appearance. Right now, it's too early to tell.

Keep us posted.

Bill

Right Bill,

It is early, but, my worry-meter starts to go down once the 3 month time frame passes. The deep sutures should be dissolving and he is not widening, DESPITE hard core weightlifting and training.
