I'm not sure if this is common - When I look at fallen hairs some have white bulbs shaped like the ends of cotton buds, however some have black shrivelled roots. Is this common and what causes the black bulbs?

Maxxy,

Do you have photos? Are you referring to natural hair loss or transplanted hair shedding?

Bill

Hey Bill,

I don't have a pic sorry, I will take 1 next time.

They are just random hairs I find, the one tonight was transplanted hair but not due to a transplant shed.

I don't want to go pulling hair but next time I will be sure to take a pic.

Oh, 1 thing I did notice, the shrivelled black bulbs are very sticky and cling to skin, if that makes sense?
