Hi Rachmunas4life,

We are easing into using Dr. Feller's FUE tool. Since we've performed majority of our FUE sessions the traditional way, we've come accustomed to the old method and it's always tough to switch to new instrumentations. I'm sure we'll use Dr. Feller's punch more as we become adapt and more comfortable with it.

Thanks for your inquiry.

so what is the original tool? any chance of posting a picture of it? is it manual? how big is the punch size of the original tool that SMG is accustomed to?

thanks Janna!

We have used Dr. Harris's punch and also a standard FUE punch .8 .9 1.0mm similar to those used by most other clinics. Other than Dr. Feller's new instrument, we are not using any specialized or "secret" tools---we use patience and attention to detail to get our grafts.

As Janna stated, Dr. Feller's tool is coming along nicely and as time goes on, we will begin adapting to its use more and more.

Take Care,
Jason
