Typically, you can expect a futher maturation of the hairs; specifically, a "softening"....or "straightening". Your HT might become more seamless in its complete integration with your native hair.

Personally, I have seen this "maturation" take place as long as 2yrs post-op, and I know at least one other who has experienced similiarly.

I'd say Thana is on point with his explanation. The hair characteristics will look a lot more like the rest of your native hair (if there is any left). The only difference I did not experience was in hair color. My HT hair has remained darker than my remaining native hair.
