This man is in his mid 50s. He has slightly coarser than average salt-and-pepper reddish brown hair with more 2s than 3s than 1s. He had 3034 follicular unit grafts transplanted into his frontal scalp with 50 grafts per square cm in his midfrontal forelock and behind his hairline. We faded the transplanted density to 44 then to 38 grafts per square cm to blend in with his existing hair. His photos were taken 5 and 14 months later.
He says that his decision to restore his hair inspired him to get back in shape. With determination, a healthy diet, and regular exercise he has gradually lost and kept off 30 pounds.

Dr. Simmons,
This is a very nice result in my opinion. I'm sure his coarser hair characteristics help to create that illusion of density as well. If you have any photos showing the top of his head (90 degrees), I'd love to see them. Keep up the great work! Bill
