Patient is a Norwood Class VI. He 42 years old and had a previous transplant 10 years ago at another clinic. They gave him appox. 1200 grafts spread out thru his entire scalp from front to back. It left him with a very thin and unnatural look. He has been very unhappy with the look he has been left with. He came to Dr. Panine with the expectation of improving his frontal look and with the understand that he will never have a full head of hair and probably not much coverage to in the crown because of his degree of hair loss and available donor. Dr. Panine was able to remove 2,439 grafts which were stratigically placed into the frontal 1/2 of his scalp. Due to the fact he already had one session previously and likes to wear his hair very short Dr. Panine did not want to get real aggressive and remove a larger strip and leave him with a bad scar in his donar area. He does have enough donor for another procedure if he every elects to have one. The break down of grafts were 801 single hairs, 1000 2 hairs, and 1002 3 hairs for a total of 5,807 hairs.

He definitely looks improved, and @ only 7months that's a very encouraging result. Very difficult situation he was in, and I'm sure if he ever elects to have another procedure his front can be finished off.

You took a ton of heat early on, but, IMO, you've definitely risen your game way up there -- posting impressive work, and postings regularly, to boot!

This patient has come along way, I could not image walking around with a bad looking transplant. His front looks good hopefully he goes in for one more session for more density. Looks good though.
