Im always looking to critique your work as you have been standing quietly on top of that mountain for sometime but there has never even been the slightest opening for me to criticize your work.
Absolutely outstanding . I havent seen many create the hairlines you present On here some docs let their finger do the walking yet you just let your work do the talking. Damn Im jealous |

Just Asking Dr Konior
He is 47, aperently only type III Vertex, why not dropping the hair line to about 7 cm. To me it looks very very conservative for such patient. Having said that, no doubt the hair line looks very very impressive. I personally would give him a lower hair line........ Just a thought. I know most of Doctors in US n Europe are very very conservative. I have been presenting and talking about lower maure hair line on different forums Like ISHRS, Orlando live surgery and ESHRS. I am not sure in cases like this why so conservative........

Dr Mohmand .
Seriously out of all the surgeons on here YOU should be the last one giving advice . You sell and believe in lasers ,just got microscopes , been kicked off here before and know nothing about the consultation they had . Just because you plant borderline pluggy Eddie Munster hairlines doesnt mean ever doc will or patient wants. Obviously your jealous or trying to show off your expertise but youve only succeeded at one. Did you measure this guys hairline? The first procedure was 6 years ago and you werent even around then. If you were you were still performing micros. At least wait for a result you can truly criticize without coming across as a goof. Ever wonder why this patient didnt ask for a lower hairline when he went back in for crown work. Maybe hes happy ,I know I would be |

I don't think his hairline is all that conservative. It already seems to be a fairly low hairline. I think it would be easier to tell if we saw the face of the patient.

Dr. Mohmand
In addition to his more obvious frontotemporal recessions this patient also showed some evidence of early miniaturization in the crown and midscalp regions when he first presented at the age of 41. He was not interested in using Propecia at that time and continues to prefer remaining off of that medication. His long term goals included maintaining coverage throughout the frontal, midscalp and the crown regions. The hairline location was requested by the patient and endorsed by me. I am usually cautious with my recommendations for hairline placement if I believe there is any potential for significant progression of the balding process, even in someone like this man who some would consider to have a relatively stable pattern because of his age. The fact of the matter is that his crown did thin following his initial frontal procedure which prompted him to have crown restoration. At this time he still continues to be more interested in an age appropriate hairline and maintaining maximum coverage and density throughout the various thinning zones. In response to aaron1234, yes he does dye his hair. I see quite a few men of all ages who use some type of coloring product for their hair. Many of these products seem to affect hair texture, a property that is readily evidenced during surgery. Processed hair can be more brittle and it is frequently difficult to comb through during the procedure. Thanks to all for positive comments. |
