Hi, its been over 2 weeks since getting a hair transplant . I know shedding is to be expected but just want clarification on this, During the shedding phase is it only the individual hairs that fall out? Since day 9 post op I've noticed whole clumps of hair falling out, it seems like the hairs are falling off with their bulbs

Could some one please take a look at the photo and tell me if this is normal as Im starting to get concerned.

cheers

Do you still have the scabs on your head following the transplant? These look like scabs with hairs stuck in them, not grafts. If the grafts themselves came out then you would likely see fresh blood on your scalp.

All normal, bud. After two weeks, grafts are very secure.

runwithscissors, the scabs have pretty much healed, only few spots where scabs still remain.

phxind, yes the grafts are secure after 2 weeks but this has started happening from day 9, looking at the pic are they not grafts then but scabs??
