Hi I was wondering I am in northern Ca and looking for a good hairtransplant surgeon with a very good track record and is patient focused I need 3500 grafts done and I see that Dr. Feller In New York Charges 13000.00 which is above my price range. I would like to spend from 7000-10,000 for this many grafts, and need a really good doctor any recommendations?????

Escobaro,

To see a list of prescreened surgeons we recommend in California, click here.

I do encourage you to research all physicians you are considering and consult with a couple that impress you the most.

Though I understand your concerns about cost, do understand that hair restoration surgery is a lifelong investment. Frankly, it'd be better to pay a few thousand dollars more to get it done right the first time, then end up having to get less than optimal work repaired for even more money.

I'm not suggesting there aren't quality physicians who charge less per graft. I'm only cautioning you to select a physician based on skill, experience, and a proven consistency in excellent results rather than price.

Best wishes,

Bill
