This is a 52 yo male who had a previous procedure 5-6 years ago and was looking to add density to his frontal forelock and crown. His previous procedure left him with a 2-3mm scar, and his genetics rendered him a rather tight scalp as compared to the norm. As a result of these factors, donor yield from the 24cm x 1.0 cm strip was 1907 total; 304 1's; 1499 2's; and 163 3's. Our goal was to create a subtle increase in the frontal forelock density, add a little more definition to the temporal hairlines and add density posterior to those lines, and to add to the crown in a subtle manner to increase density there as well. The crown area is about 50 cm2, which we transplanted at an average density of 30 FU/cm2, in deference to the pre-existing hair. Total FF and temporal areas are about 16 cm2, which we transplanted at an average density of 30 FU/cm2, in deference to the pre-existing hair. I apologize for the presence of the flash in these shots- it was what we were using back a year ago- we have since updated our photo taking procedure so as not to include flash pictures. As there is no intent to "deceive"- the post op shots were also taken with a flash in our new setup.
