Hi All,

This is my first post in this forum,I have been reading this for a while.

I am only 26 yrs old and I have started losing my hair, withitn 2-3 months I have lost considerable amount of hair. It's an hereditary hair loss.As far as I know there is no cure for this!!,but still I am desperate to post this .

To tell you guys, with naked eyes no one will be able to make out my hair loss as I am on very early stages of losing it.

Is there any medication which you guys know that will be effective and is there any doctor who has good record for hereditary loss treatment/prevention.

Please suggest.

Regards

there are 2.

Finasteride/proscar/propecia, all the same thing, should stop you from losing anymore hair, works for most people it has worked for me.

Rogaine/Regaine can grow some hair back.

Dakshmoor-

I have been taking Propecia since 2002. My hair transplant doc sends me a 3 month supply to my house on a regular basis. A regular doctor could write you a prescription for Propecia. I'm not sure if you can get this over the counter as I have never needed to.

If you want to stop losing more hair due to genetics, get on the meds ASAP. I take 1 pill a day and that's it. To me, it's a lot easier than having to use Rogaine which I used to use as well but quit when I went on Propecia. You will need to decide what's right for you.

dont use propecia its too expensive, use finasteride, its the same thing, just means you have to cut it into 4 pieces. save you thousands over the years though.

You can get both of these with no script, rogaine over the counter and finasteride online, Spex, a member on this forum can tell you where to get it if your in the UK, if your in the US I'm sure someone on here will be able to tell you where is the best place to order from, some online companies sell fake pills so be careful.

sparky means you should get the generic form of finasteride. it's called proscar. it does cost less than propecia and does the same thing. it is a bit of a pain cutting it up into fours, but if you're looking to save money well worth it...
