Wow, this is a long blog. I know that I have posted before, conceivably in this specific blog but there were too many pages to review....
Ask your own doctor what he/she thinks as far as training postop. I let patients go right back to training as long as they don't stretch "my" scar by doing crunches or arching while bench pressing, as soon as the sutures are removed. That seems to be ok for our patients, but do what your own doc tells you. They most likely have a reason behind their thoughts on postop care. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA

I appreciate your thoughts. I'm on day 5 and things are improving, swelling almost all gone and healing up nicely. I get the sutures out on Monday so I will probably wait till then to start training again. For now light cardio will have to do.
