Our patient is a 38 YO male who presents with a loss of his frontal hairline, temporal points, and crown, with advanced thinning in the frontal forelock. His goals are primarily to reconstruct the hairline, add density to the frontal forelock area, AND "put a little back there in the crown too doc-". We obtained and placed 3,106 FU grafts: 1281 one's; 1540 two's; and 285 3's. Graft distribution was weighted about 3/4 to the anterior (FF) scalp and 1/4 to the posterior (crown) area. Strip donor area closed tricophytically. The patient returns at one year for FU. He has scheduled for a second surgery to concentrate on the crown area next.

Dr. Carman,

It's obvious that your work in on par with other leading physicians in the field. Very nice and ultra refined.

I think it's time we start considering you for the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. You've certainly proven yourself over the last year.

Thanks for posting.

Best wishes,

Bill

I'd say they will start talking about Carman in the same breath as H & W, Feller, Shapiro an all the other docs de jour. And I'd venture to say La Jolla is a whole lot more pleasant more times of the year than Vancouver, Long Island, and brrr....Minneapolis!

I agree that dr. Carmen does good work, but not based on these pic's. The lighting is completly differant in the afters which makes it hard to see the true "picture". Dare I say decieving! He is only 3 months though so Im sure he is going to be very happy when all is said and done.

I have updated this patients album as he came in for his one year post op visit.
He has scheduled for a second procedure, this time to concentrate on restoring the crown.

Looks very good; I'm sure his 2nd pass will hook up his crown and given him a total transformation.

Dr. Carman,

Your work never ceases to impress me. I particularly like the hairline design and think it's very fitting on him. I'm sure the second procedure will complete his look by helping him cover the balding areas in the crown.

Thanks for posting :-)
