This patients had multiple strip procedures performed elsewhere that left the donor area scarred throughout.
The most bothersome scar was in the lower right side of the donor. His pervious doctor tried to put some minigrafts into it, but as they both found out, large grafts don't grow well in scar.

Our goal was to get 300 to 400 grafts to fill in the most offending scar. But as luck would have it we were able to fil not on the primary scar, but a secondary one located on the left side of his donor area.

Because this scars bled rather well when cut I anticipate excellent growth.

We succeeded in obtaining 412 grafts. Just over half were double and triple hair grafts which were placed into the primary scar.

FUE was made for patients in his situation.

Pics below. He will update in 6 months.

Looks very good. Whats the highest amount you should put in per sq cm in 1 session, to get optimal growth.

Very nice, look forward to seeing this grown. The question of yield and just how much and far grafts can go when put into scars has always intriuged me.

Growth into scars can be slow due to scar tissue but it will be great to see how its looking at 6 months.
