Here is an update on a fellow who had had a few transplants by a large US chain and had a wide scar. We excised the left half back in October, treated him with steroids and massage to the scar, and he did well. We did the right half last Friday. He desired to have a couple of hundred grafts from the anterior end of his right scar line placed to thicken 2 focused areas of his previously transplanted hairline.
His pictures follow. We have him massaging his scar 3 times daily, using mederma and vitamin E, and I injected kenalog at suture removal. We will see him in Mid Jan for a scar check. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA
