This man is in his 50s. He has finer than average red (and grey) hair with more hairs per follicular unit than average. He had 2867 follicular units transplanted to his frontal area then 9 months later he had a second session of 2353 follicular unit grafts transplanted less densely to his midscalp and anterior crown. He could easily have another session of up to 2000 grafts and still have donor hair in reserve but he is satisfied with his hair as it is now.
We usually don't keep separate counts but we did in his last session. He had 232 1s (10%), 1073 2s (46%), 770 3s (33%), and 235 4s (10%) and 43 5s (2%) for a total of 5843 hairs or 2.5 hairs per graft. I apologize for some inconsistent lighting. This was one of my first patients at my new centre in 2006 and the settings for the camera room weren't fixed yet.

Quite impressive results (I'd be very pleased with such results) and it's great to see a jolly face in the photos - he looks like a friendly chap...kind of reminds me of my Dad. The last pic shows a great transformation indeed.

This patient looks 10 years younger. I think i speak for alot of people when i say that this community is interested in seeing more of your work Dr. Simmons.
