Dear Forum Members

I tend to post the most challanging pictures that I think not many doctors would be able to address.
To do type III or Type IV I guess isnot as challanging as type VII especially if its an advance type VII.

I therefore tend to post only ones which I feel would make people believe that only 7000 grafts in our clinic can make a huge difference in the out look of a person.

He obviously looks very happy and As I know him personally I know it has played a very positive effect in his life in general.

Hair loss made him very introvert peronality and now he has started to enjoy jhis life more, which makes me feel even better.

Being a colleague of mine all surgeries were probono.

would love to hear from the members regarding this surgery......open to all sorts of criticism........

There is a mile of difference here......would i be happy with the result ?
Probably not....but then again i am no where near the scale where this guy started out. Great to hear that he is one happy camper doc....took quite a few sittings to get him where he is but to him, obviously it was well worth it .

Yes you are right, I wont be happy with the result but ask some one who has lost the complete hope and have been to some of the world leading chains in US and have been enied surgery cause of advance hair loss.

Thats is what makes it a challanging.
Second, the reason why it toook so many session was cause you want to be cautions in removing the donor area, if you do too much it could be ood looking donor area, so in order to keep the donor area look aesthetically pleasing and no obvious difference to be detected I had to go slow.

That was all planned, we are talking about a very very low margin of error when it comes to select a donor area from advance type VII.

That is a great improvement for the patient . How hard is it to manage the donor area ? Is there different techniques for multiple sessions ? Anyway I am happy for this guy to get the maximum out of his advanced norwood level .

No there is no special technique, all you have to be is careful not to over do as the margin of error is very low.

I would have to agree, this is another excellent example of your skills doctor, considering the extensive hair loss of the patient. Many patients with this level of hair loss usually have very limited options of coverage. Thanks for sharing.

this patient had 4 procedures so does he currently have 4 scars also? if not how many? i also noticed that a lot of your patients like to sport a comb over or a JFK hair style. why is that? the guy came a long way from where he started. i bet he is very happy and that's all it metters. you can tell by looking at his pics. the more hair, bigger the smile.

good job doc!

Dear GQ

1 surgery means 1 scar, 10 surgeries means 1 scar also.
I am actually surprised with the concept of 4 surgeries 4 scar.
The previous scar is always removed and my patients always have just one scar.

Well with limited hair the styling gets very important. So i belive that if you part from side it gives a better illusion.

Humayun
