Dr. Mohmand,
Norwood 7s are usually tough cases to crack. Each patient with this much hair loss must realize it's impossible to accomplish both full coverage and density with a limited donor hair supply. Given this patient's extensive hair loss, in my opinion, this is an outstanding improvement. Best wishes, Bill

To do a type VI or VII
the most imporatant thing is o understand that you must have a donor area density of type A or minimum type B, means 80 to 120 grafts / sq cm. This patient had about 90 to 100 FU /sq cm. His hair were curly but not very curly rather few curls, if you know what I mean. It was Dark Brown to Black in colour and medium to thick hair. One need to understand the more the thickker the hair shaft the more difficult to give a soft hair line. One can use a laser to soften up the front hair line or one can select the thin most roots of about 500 number to make a two row hair line with keeping the curl of shaft in view...... I have been so many times stressing that the secrect of natural looking hair transplant is not the gadegts but the technique. Especially the consideration of curl of the hair shaft. This article was published in ESHRS journal as well.
