I over used Revita. I was on it for 5 days in a row and I used it 2 times a day, then 2 days off of it. I did that routine 2 times. The 2nd day using it I noticed my hair was shedding. I used the shampoo all over my body also. My body hair that i lost to Revita is growing back. How long will it take for my head hair to grow back. The only place that I did not use the Revita on are my arm pits and I have not lost any hair in that area. I used and stopped using Revita in June 2010.

Once again, How long will it take for my head hair to grow back?

I also use Nizoral 1% (non-prescription here in the U.S.) about twice a week. It seems to work ok. Thanks for the tips, Spex.

Be careful with Nizoral, the tablets have terrible side effects (testicular atrophy) and if you use the shampoo too much you can get the same with the shampoo (and never in a thousand years guess it was a shampoo causing the problem).

In Denmark where the healt care is more strict than in the States they recommend only to use Nizoral 2 times a week. So every third day is too much and especially 3 times a week according to danish doctors. Overuse can cause hairloss.
