This 30 year old presented a few years ago for his first session and spread 3 sessions out over a few years. He had extremely fine, silky hair and wore a hairpiece, which he converted to a "clip attachment" mechanism until his transplants grew in. We had him keep it off the week after each transplant procedure and he finally got rid of it after the last session grew in.
He also had a very tight donor scalp which didn't allow for removing a very wide strip. At his last visit, a few hundred FU's were placed in the rear crown/vertex. A few temple grafts were added also then.
The advantage of fine hair is that it looks very natural. The disadvantage is that there is not much "mass" to the hair, so usually one additional session is necessary to give you the amount of hair you want for a relatively full look.
