I started losing hair at about 24. The hair line only receeded and the progression though the years was slow and I never realy minded the ression of my hair line becuase the rest of my hair was very dense and luxurious. At the age of 29 I went through a shedding period which got me concerned my Dr. put me on propecia and within months I had great results.
The real issue was at the age of 31 I was traveling for some time and ran out of my prescription of propecia during this time I went through the worst shedding experiance to date. During this period I thinned out all over but still pretty much maintaned the same hairline but there was noticable thinning at least to me and for sure when my hair was wet. I immediatly got back on propecia when I returned and I would say I once again had good results after a few months. But at this point the damage was done and all though My hair looked full I knew it would be just a matter of time where I will be seriously thin and self concious of my hair situation. I am now 34 and decided to have a transplant.
