Comments about hair loss treatments you've tried or are considering:
I tried Rogaine with success in the beginning. But after I foolishly took a break and started up again, it irritated my scalp. This was before they came out with Rogaine foam. Since then, I've been considering Rogaine foam but am satisfied enough with my hair transplant results that I haven't. I'm still considering it.

Update: in the beginning of November, 2010 I started using Rogaine foam in conjunction with finasteride. The crown and the area above the occipital ridge are still rather thin. Thus, I figured I'd use Rogaine foam for a 6 to 12 month evaluation period twice daily to see if I can thicken it up.

While rapid hair shedding in certain areas may be an indication of genetic hair loss, it's typically more gradual and follows a particular pattern like the Norwood scale or Ludwig scale . Diffuse pattern baldness...

My Surgical Hair Restoration Journey From Start...

The photos I've attached to this blog demonstrate my hair before any surgery and then 4 hair transplants later.  What the above doesn't show is that all of the natural hair I had left in the "before" photos is also gone.  Thus, without hair restoration surgery, I'd be completely bald on top and most likely a full Norwood 6. Below is my story. At age 27, I decided to start doing...

My Trip to Vancouver in April, 2009 for my 4th...

When visiting a beautiful city like Vancouver, it would be a mistake not to take some time to tour the city and enjoy the tourist attractions.  My last blog focused on my hair transplant journey.  But this one will feature some pictures of beautiful Vancouver :-)
