Comments about hair loss treatments you've tried or are considering:

Finasteride, since 1998, with the odd break. It has perhaps slowed the rate of loss, but never stopped or threatened to reverse it. In October 2011 I stopped taking the drug due to concerns over my libido.
Minoxidil, for a year. I had some initial success on the crown, but then all gains disappeared, and I didn't like the extra coarseness in my beard;
Dutasteride, for a year. No success at all, and dramatically reduced libido;
Topical spironolactone, for a year. No success.
Nizoral shampoo, for five years. Hard to say if it's slowing down the rate of loss, but seems so widely recommended I am sticking with it as my choice of shampoo.
Saw Palmetto. Tried before, during a break from finaisteride, without any noticeable difference. May try again due to libido problems caused by finasteride.

Follow-up to meeting with Dr Lindsey and Spex @...

Just a quick update following my meeting with Dr Lindsey and Spex last week. Both were of the opinion that I still had a bit of maturing left, and that we would review after Xmas. Dr Lindsey is prepared to do a scar repair job for me FOC. It was good to meet Spex for the first time, and see for real his amazing barnet.

HT 2, 8.5 months

I've added a selection of different photos under different lights, in slideshow format. The density is better than following the Transmed hair transplant, but still quite thin overall I feel. After a spurt of growth around March/April, there's hasn't been much change in the last couple of months. The scar has not changed at all, and is still very wide and bare.
