I've been loosing hair for about 10 years and I've tried Rogaine and Propecia in the past. Propecia seemed to work but it was a slow process and I gave it up after about a year. Several years later, I had to rethink about that decision. In 2011, I was turning 50 but I sure didn't feel like it. I was running several marathons in a year and I felt more like I was 35 or 40, not 50. The lack of hair didn't match the way I felt about myself. So I decided I was going to be more serious, did some research and decided to go with Dr James Vogel.
In my research, a lot of names came up as well as a range of prices for the procedure. I also didn't want to have to get on a plane to have the procedure. Looking back, knowing what I know now, I would have traveled for Dr. Vogel. Obviously this was very important decision and an expensive decision and I wanted to make sure that I had the right person performing the procedure on me. I've read about too many folks that were not happy with the procedure, or worse, had to go back for another procedure to fix the first one. I didn't want to go through that! I felt Dr Vogel had the right training and experience to give the best chance of the outcome I was looking for. I could have gone with many other doctors that had would have cost much less. I wanted done right the first time and it was worth it for me to go with Dr Vogel.
It's been about a year since the procedure now and I'm thrilled of the outcome! You can stand right in front of me and you will not be able to tell that I had a transplant. It looks absolutely natural. I am so glad I made the decision to have the procedure finally and even more about chosing Dr Vogel.
